I'm your Personal Stylist, Annabel Emery.
I’ve always been enamoured by the way visual design can evoke mood and energy, and tell a story.
After graduating with a BA Hons in Fashion Business & Promotion, studying in Milan and completing The Style Academy’s Certified Personal Stylist program, I have spent over a decade exploring the fashion world - from retail to buying, to visual merchandising, costuming for film, and creating content that celebrates personal expression.
My creative practice has since grown beyond the wardrobe. I’ve styled homes, staged interiors, founded Strange Goods Market - Queenstown’s pop-up preloved fashion event - and sell my own digital illustrations through Anecdote Design. Whether it’s fashion, interiors, or art, I see style as a way to evoke emotion and share visual insights into who we are and what we're feeling.
As an ex fast-fashion addict, I intend to contribute to a more sustainable way of shopping, dressing, curating and living.
